2080 is a cafe chain that started its work in West Asia. The goal of 2080 is to compete in the global market of coffee chains such as Starbucks, Costa, and Nero, and take their share of this market.
The first need of the managers of this brand was to find a strategic name. The strategy team of Wend International Company came to the conclusion that the right strategy for naming is not to focus on the meaning of the name and to choose a name that is easy to pronounce and easy to remember.
Hence, the name 2080 was chosen, inspired by Pareto’s law, which is both simple and short to say easily, and easy to remember because of the association of Pareto’s law in the mind. In this regard, Vand’s design strategists decided to put 20 on the top and 80 on the bottom of the logo design so that the possibility of the audience misreading the brand as 2080 is completely eliminated.
Continuing to explain the appropriate brand strategy, the strategists considered a calm and respectable personality for 2080. So the colors, designs, space, uniform and even the behavior of the employees were designed to reflect the respect and calmness of the brand’s personality. It is as if 2080 has taken off her coat and rolled up her sleeves, with a formal appearance but a friendly demeanor, and is welcoming her guests.
