Nishant Rytel has won the 2018 Graphis Award in New York. The Wrightel logo was designed by Toraj Sabrivand (Design Strategist of Vand International Company) in 2009, but to improve the details of the logo, he redesigned it in 2017, and the redesigned logo won the prize in the graphics competition. In the redesign of the new logo, while the problems of the previous logo have been fixed, the original identity of the logo has been preserved and the audience can still easily identify the logo. The design changes of the new Rytel logo and Vend's approach in this redesign were noticed by the judges of this event.

Graphis is the name of an event that is held every year by an institution with the same name. This event, which started in the early 1950s, has become one of the most competitive design competitions in the world today. Organizers of the Graphis event say their aim is to present and promote the work of exceptional talent in design, advertising, photography and art/illustration. The origin of the annual graphic design competition is related to a magazine with the same name. Over the past few decades, Graphis magazine has become one of the most influential design magazines in the world due to its high accuracy and perfect taste in selecting and introducing works. This magazine, which is actually a non-profit educational and artistic organization and its office is located in New York City, holds its annual events in several areas such as advertising, photography, logo, branding and typography. The collection considers itself an international bastion of excellence in design and visual imagery, and is said to hold the largest collection of creative designs, and its archives include the most diverse works of designers’ careers from the decade of its establishment until now. Grafis emphasizes the cultural and social values and context in the works she accepts. The founders of this competition say that they display and introduce works that give importance to cultural and social themes over time. Graphis identifies the best professional and emerging talent from around the world and communicates with them through various channels including awarding. Graphis aims to hold annual competitions to gather creative insights from around the world and add to the cultural understanding of human society from their past, present and future.

Winners of the Graphis Institute’s annual events are announced in various disciplines and categories and are awarded the event badge, which is designed in the shape of a G in platinum, gold and silver colors. The central color of each award also corresponds to the fields: Red for design, green for advertising and yellow for photography. In addition to platinum, gold, and silver winners, Graphis has dedicated a portion of its event to recognizing emerging talents deserving of recognition. In addition to the cash prize, the winners of the Graphis event will be introduced in the yearbook of this institution and will benefit from benefits such as participation in calls, subscription to the magazine, access to the complete database of selected works, free promotion and introduction, access to the complete archive of the magazine, etc.
